First of all I would like to give a shout-out to Slashgeo – they are like Slashdot for GIS industry. There are often just 1 or a few news items, and I like and actually read this daily newsletter. Unlike say the ad-laden Spatial News and other GIS media news services. And their news items are interesting and informative. I learn a little bit more about GIS every day!
